Kenwood, California Von Stein Residence Hammond Fine Homes built this very challenging modern home in the hills overlooking the Valley of the Moon, in Sonoma County. Designed by Fernau & Hartman, a well-known bay area architectural firm, this home presented a variety of highly technical challenges. The project was featured in a variety of publications including the San Francisco Examiner, Sunset Magazine, and both Global Architecture and Progressive Architecture magazines. The project included all site development, a separate guesthouse "pavilion", and a trellised, poured concrete carport and front entry walkway. - Fernau & Hartman, Architects
