"I firmly believe, from what I have seen, that this is
the chosen spot of all this earth as far as Nature is
concerned."
—Luther Burbank, horticulturist, 1875

rolling hills, majestic old-growth redwoods, more
than 30 miles of rugged coastline, historic towns, an
abundance of arts and culture, and a multitude of
farms—from dairy and fiber producing animals to
fruit trees and vineyards. This bounty creates a food
and wine lover’s paradise!
Penngrove lies in the foothills of Sonoma Mountain,

Francisco. A small town of about 4,000 residents,

in its backyard. The Luther Burbank Center for the
Performing Arts, the Santa Rosa Symphony, the

Sonoma County ARTrails, and a multitude of
galleries and museums provide cultural entertainment.
The Russian River and a variety of Federal, State and
local parks provide thousands of acres for hiking,
mountain biking, camping, boating, and other
outdoor activities.

Sonoma County combined with a wonderfully mild
climate creates an environment that can be as fast-paced
or laid back and relaxing as you choose.
